Senior Project Manager (HSBC)

Job Responsibilities:

• Manage end-to-end delivery of banking projects, from requirement gathering to post-implementation support.

• Lead Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives) and ensure project milestones are achieved.

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to capture, analyze, and prioritize requirements.

• Translate business needs into user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional specifications.

• Coordinate cross-functional teams (business, IT, vendors, compliance) to drive timely delivery.

• Oversee testing (UAT), track issues, and ensure smooth deployment into production.

• Ensure compliance with banking regulations, risk controls, and audit requirements.

• Provide project reporting, dashboards, and regular updates to senior management.

• Drive process improvements and contribute to digital transformation initiatives.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, Finance, or related discipline.

• 5+ years’ experience in Business Analysis AND/OR Project Management within banking/financial services.

• Proven track record in Agile project delivery and managing end-to-end implementations.

• Strong knowledge of banking processes, digital platforms, and regulatory requirements.

• Proficiency with Agile tools (JIRA, Confluence, or equivalent).

• Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication, and problem-solving skills.

• Certifications such as Agile (Scrum Master/SAFe), PMP, or CBAP are advantageous.
